Salukiworld needs to start that San Fran thread as soon as possible. Don’t even need a preview let’s get the chatter going. Game of the Year for us 😃
Did what we needed to do against the competition. I like that Domask, Coupet and Verplancken sat the last 6 minutes or so. Domask still played about 31-32 minutes, which was too many against a D2. We shot well, cut down the turnovers in the 2nd half and played decent defense. Hope Jones is closer to 100% on Wednesday against San Francisco.
Biggest benefit of this game for me is to see Banks finally play that aggressively on offense. Hope that gives him the confidence to continue to do that since he hit a couple of threes and was aggressive going to the hoop and not getting blocked. Admittedly against lower competition but he needed that. Nice to see Ben hit his shots and appears to be playing better d. Progress overall, need to hopefully clear up the early turnovers we have had the past several games. Big game on Wednesday, will really tell us all a lot more about where we are and if we can continue to progress and not fall back.

Might wait until Sunday Night because they play today and tomorrow
Yawn...tuned in late was hoping we'd drop a Benjamin on this team. Sitting Jones was smart. Limiting Domasks' minutes even more would have been smarter: but still, without Brown, kinda shoots that in the foot.
Now trekking cross country to San Fran for a big game, fingers crossed that Jones is ready to roll.
Women hosting the Illini tomorrow, that should be fun.

Any chance we can have Coupet for a couple more years?
Nope, but I sure wouldn’t mind getting more JUCO and other stud transfers instead of recruiting a bunch of guys who “aren’t ready” for 2 years.
Coupet needs to do this consistently. We need a Big 3. Especially with how this group isn’t very good team-wise on offense.
I doubt you'll be saying that when Scottie Ebube and Foster Wonders are dominating the Valley as 5th year Seniors. 😉
Does anyone else think Filewich should be back in the starting lineup over Muila?
Ben Coupet is breaking out - dude's got talent. Love it!
Does anyone else think Filewich should be back in the starting lineup over Muila?
Not sure, Filewich has been playing his best basketball lately and I think Muila has been playing probably his worst but I think it's more who they've played recently. I think Muila is going to be more valuable against a team like San Francisco.

No. The kid, when starting and going against the other team’s starter, was playing like he had two broken legs and a broken arm. He is having some success now against the other teams second and third rotation. Let him come off the bench and continue to get some positive production.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
