That would have to be Hudson, wouldn't it? Don't recall which year, but obviously late 90s.

#1 Troy Hudson, 134, 1996-97 . Attempted (Shot) 362
#2 Shane Hawkins, 96, 1997-98. Attempted (Shot) 250
# 3 Troy Hudson, 93, 1995-96. Attempted (Shot) 247
No real surprises here. According to the stats, if I read them right:
Doug Novsek .473 in 86-87 - had such a sweet shot..the net would just snap like a bullwhip sometimes
Kent Williams .465 in 02-03
Kai Nurnberger .453 in 87-88 - I took my neighbor to a game at the old NIU fieldhouse back in 88 and KN made something like seven 3 pointers. Neighbor bet on NIU - bad choice!
Mr. Tatum shot .456 in 03-04 but only took 68 shots!
There were other great shooters before the 3pter. Mike Glenn might have been the best of all: shot .611 in 1975, amazing for a guard.
Milt Huggins was a great shooter also.
