Good luck to Bryan and his family.  How many of the SIU players end up at DePaul?

Good landing spot for Bryan.  DePaul is also adding former SIU assistant Jack Owens as well to their staff.

I wish Bryan all the best.  I think in the end, this is gonna work out best for both sides.

How many of the former SIU players do you think are talented enough to play in the Big East?  Not at all meant to be a snarky question.

Dimico was working out for Murray.  But with this hiring, maybe he will end up at De Paul also.

I would say that there would be at least 3-4. Davis, demico, ebube, guard from Indianapolis

I think Ebube, Troy, Hensley, Davis and Rupert could play and be successful.  Hensley has the potential to be a player like Pittsnogle from WVU who destroyed us in the NCAA tourney.

That's great news! I think he'll prove to be an excellent hire, and that program needs all the help it can get.

I’m glad for Bryan. I don’t think Holtmann is a good coach at all, but he can recruit, so he may stick.

Really smart hire by Holtmann.

I knew Bryan would get a good job but I am now officially relieved he landed it.

Amongst all of the differences of opinion folks have in Saluki nation of whether or not Mullins should’ve been let go, I strongly believe everyone is wishing him nothing but success.

The same Ebube that everyone said was going to transfer due to playing time issues?  Or the same players that some said were on the SIU roster that wasn’t going to be good this year….or the same players that were used to say Mullins couldn’t recruit?

Just being a smart ass….not even sure your stance on this issue.  But sometimes it’s like we talk out of both sides of our mouth here.

Maybe we can get them on the schedule next year.

Our 2 players + 3 from the Banterra Custodial staff.  Maybe have Watson coach.

@johnny-utah

I am in the minority here.  I wanted Mullins to get a five year extension because he wanted to be in Carbondale.  Sort of like Oakland which has had its coach for 40 years.  And this is my opinion and I don’t care what anyone else thinks.
