There is just something about that kid that reminds me of Jimmy Chitwood.
I sure as hell hope so 😁

Really nice win! I am really impressed with the blending of the team at this point, the overall ball movement, help on defense and at this early point with so many new faces. It really points to the possibilities as the season goes forward and they continue get familiar with each other and the systems. But the I remember who the coach is and am not as surprised. We have some good depth, we will struggle all season with rebounds but the first half tonight was better. I really like Verplanken, I think he is a solid player with good instincts and has a real feel for the game. Trent's defense is awesome. Banks, is as expected, and I could go on..What FUN!
That was one heck of a game to watch and to win. The Dawgs showed stamina and courage to hang with and beat a very talented team. D'avanzo played great and hit some big buckets. Filewich really came on strong in the second half and started using his body around the basket and get some important rebounds. Brown did a great job on defense. Banks and Jones and Harvey came up with solid play. 5 players in double figures and some great shooting from the free throw line. Big game coming up with Duquesne and it would be good to keep this train rolling! The future is bright. Congrats Salukis.
First time back on the board since last season. Had to get on after that win last night. What a great team win that was.
I'm really impressed by the newcomers. D'Avanzo was key last night. I like Filewich too, and I didn't expect much from him as a freshman.
Hard to believe a majority of our team are freshman and sophomores. Our backcourt has the chance to be scary good the next couple years.
I'm psyched for the future of this program.

So disappointed Duquesne game won't be televised.
True, but the verbal images provided by Mike Reis and Rodney Watson are almost like being there in person!
Surely they will add this to the ESPN+ schedule. It seems insane that those won't be picked up by someone.

My favorite quote from Mullins "yea Dalton has really improve his free throws. I make him hit two free throws or the team runs"
@freshman63 Yeah, it would be nice to see the game, but as stated earlier, Mike Reis is great to listen to.
