Still holding a grudge, huh? If you don't want to appear to be a douchebag, then don't come on here after every win acting like you were the only one rooting for the team. It's quite annoying.
I am not the only one rooting for the team... I know that... I am just one of a few not dying for a chance to type out how bad they are and why the coach is a failure after every loss... Huge difference.
Now that you mention it, I think Mullins should be wearing a tie and sport coat to the games. He should also grow his hair out and part it down the middle like Alfalfa. Needs to show a little respect for his Alma Mater!

You have assembled an entire army of straw men.
😆
I can think of very few people on this board who fit your description of what you obviously think of the majority of posters.

Definitely don't want Ebube to slim down, his size is his big advantage. What we need is for him to improve his cardio fitness but add on 10lbs of muscle in the process. More fit = good. Less size = not good.I must say that after an extremely emotional win on Saturday vs #23 Indiana State, last nights victory was pretty special. Hensley is displaying the intangibles I thought he would bring a bit earlier in the season. Davis is showing more maturity and initiative late in games. We most certainly saw more of Scottie, but can understand why his minutes have been somewhat limited this year. Really needs to become dedicated to slimming down, and his overall health. His potential, per discussed here is unmatched. Both TD, and TB came up big in many facets last night. Great win indeed.
Evansville plays exceptionally well at home, and are much improved under the new coaching regime. It won't be easy, much like any other MVC road game. Keep it rolling Dawgs!!!
Agree on the size advantage. Definite advantage/plus for us, especially in the MVC. Should have said he needs stamina improvement, as that looks apparent. I believe muscle can be added, while maintaining a fit/lean body. Would certainly think that the strength and conditioning coach has been in his ear, but SE needs to make that commitment. Might as well add JH, AJ, and SS to this wish list as well. Here's hoping Cade can make a nice comeback and add some strength too.
GO DAWGS, BEAT UE!!!
Regarding Ebube's fitness/stamina, I think all of these three things are true: 1). He has made major strides in his fitness/conditioning from last year to this year; 2). He still has a ways to go in this area; 3). Pretty sure he has put in a lot of work to get in good shape but for whatever reason, it's more of a challenge for him than many other guys given his body type and probably genetics.
Also agree with the post above that guys like Ferguson, Hensley and Sharp could really benefit from adding strength this offseason. But, like mentioned above, it's probably more challenging for them for whatever reason than some other guys. Think Brad Korn.
Does anyone know the status for Rupert for the Evansville game?

I am one of those guys who think SE needs more playing time. But he clearly needs conditioning, so I get that he is compromised on that front.
That doesn't mean he should get two minutes.
Our coach has admitted as much on two occasions.
For that, and for thinking that X is playing too much, i apparently think BM sucks and should be fired. Stupid!
Also, did anyone else think that Miller was just fine when he came in in relief of X? Yeah, he wasn't X. But he wasn't terrible. Just . . . weird.

That 2 minute stint is a bad idea IMO. Mullins mentioned after the game, talking about his playing days, getting your 2nd wind. That absolutely happens and jerking SE or anybody out after 2 minutes makes no sense 90% of the time.
SE did fine playing 18 the other game. I'm all for it.
And BTW, XJ was limping against Murray and WAS absolutely gassed. It's also possible that whatever Clarence has is circulating and some other players are a bit under the weather.
History has taught us that groupthink is a dangerous thing.
It is, but there can be groupthink on both sides of this particular argument.
I don't think Bryan is going anywhere anytime soon, but there's still some things that have to be shored up here in recruitment and the portal, along with offensive strategy and load management. The off the court operations of the program with developing players and the way the program is representing the community and SIU is very good. I don't think the folks running SIU are taking anything lightly when it comes to these sort of decisions.
Did anyone else notice that Murray state brought 2 of their campus police officers that sat behind their bench?
