A good sign for the league:
Nothing But NET
Entering this week, seven MVC schools rank in the top 150 of the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET). Last year, only three MVC teams were in the Top 150 at season’s end. Five league schools are rated higher
than last year’s best-rated team in the NET (Loyola led the league with a season-ending 131 NET rating in 2018-19.) Co-champion Drake was the league leader at the end of the regular-season with a 127.
This season, the MVC has three in the Top 100, led by UNI’s No. 49 ranking. As a conference, the MVC is the 11th-rated league in the NET ratings. Last season, the MVC was No. 14 in the NET at season’s end.

This chart of 100,000 simulations of the rest of the Valley season gives the Salukis a 67% chance of avoiding Thursday.
9 wins and we’ll be at the mercy of tie breakers.
10 wins should get us out of the PIG.
Very favorable schedule down the stretch that I think the home slate should get us to 9.
A win tonight and I’m pivoting to a shot at the top seeds at Arch Madness.

Even more outdated today with Dawgs tied up in the #2 position.
MVC article in today's St. Louis paper:
I take a little issue with him saying GI Joe brought Loyola style here.
Dude, Mullins brought vintage Saluki style back to Chicago and showed those guys how to play it.
Hartman, Weber, Painter were all defense.
We are returning to our history not copying from Loyola.
That reporter's been around long enough to know better.
