I for one am not Happy. While, IF the Dawgs win, it gives SIU a better chance at winning it all, I want respect to come back to the MVC and Northern Iowa is the best team in the league and now they'll likely be in the NIT.

I wanted UNI to take care of biz, figuring that if they at least made it a close game in the finals (on CBS, so a national b'cast) they'd get an at-large if they lost then, giving the league 2 bids. Absent some bizarre concurrence of perfect events, that ain't happening now.
Meanwhile, Bears over the Trees by 11 w/10:00 to go, so possibly 3 of 4 lower (higher?) seeds could be in the semis.
