Evansville and UNI would also have to considerably separate themselves from the pack. Anything less than a 14-4 conference record for each will likely mean outside the at-large bubble looking in. Aside from the fluke win at Kentucky, I haven't seen enough from the Aces to legitimately think they can pull it off.
Probably another one bid year for the MVC.

The UNI Panthers want a top 25 ranking and they want it NOW!

Bill Walton's always been an idiot, at least in my opinion.

Great win. If UNI can avoid a slipup at Grand Canyon (tough physical and emotional turnaround after the big win) and at home against Marshall, the Panthers will have put together a very solid non-conference resume.
If UNI wins those two remaining games and avoids a major collapse in conference play, they'll be in a great position for an at-large if they don't win Arch Madness. Nice work by them.

What a time to be alive for the UNI faithful. Their basketball team is going to make a push for a top 25 ranking and their football program is playing in the Quarterfinals on ESPN2.

Ben Jacobson has the UNI basketball program rolling again! Good for UNI and good for The Valley.

Obviously it's beyond silly to look ahead to next season in December, but if key pieces are retained ... Loyola, UNI, Missouri State and Evansville could be damn good next year, and other programs (hopefully including SIU) should also be quite competitive. Loyola especially should be stacked next year.
OK, back to the 2019-20 season ... 😊

I hope you're right. It would be wonderful for The Valley and all schools included to take a big step forward with the talent and wins over solid competition.
Loyola will still have Porter sooooooooo
