Barry says no league games will be decided by double-digits this season.  The second final of the season is an 18-point UNI pounding of Bradley.  Plus, Loyola up 34 at the half.  Good call Barry!

Drake's grad transfer starting PG Nick Norton, who has been great and a big part of their success, went down with a serious knee injury at Evansville tonight. Without him, they're no longer a contender.

Who the hell is a contender in this declining league? Loyola and ... ????

If this is a make-or-break year for Hinson, he couldn't have asked for a more favorable MVC landscape to navigate.

Loyola destroys IndSU. Jordan Barnes held to 0 points. Rickman held to 0 points.

Loyola plays very good D. 22nd in scoring defense. I believe they've had some injuries also. They could win the MVC again.

Barnes played just 14 minutes.  He averages 35.5 minutes.  Was he sick or injured?

EDIT:  ISU game story says Barnes was "battling an illness."

I still believe the MVC is Loyola's to lose.

I could honestly see Loyola vs SIU in the MVCt championship with SIU doing their normal crap the bed in big games routine to the tune of about a 15 point defeat.

Well - maybe Barry meant to say that none of OUR league WINS will be decided by double digits.

That makes more sense.
