Tonights results..... Hello, Thursday.
i love tracking standings and figuring out possibility, but i look at playing on thursday as a possibility to be set free one day earlier.
Craving a McBride Special!
This is a nearly meaningless calculation at this point, but the current 5th place tie-breaker would fall out like this:
5. Valpo
6. SIU
7. Bradley
8. UNI
Drake currently holds the tie-breaker with MSU, so the Bears would have the three-seed and play SIU.
What a big game the Mo State/Loyola game becomes on Sunday!
Craving a McBride Special!
Wow. The Valley is about as predictable as a wet sh!t splatter pattern this season.

I think Southern is going to have to go 1-4 to end up in the Thursday night games. I think it's pretty rare to see an 8-win team end up as a 7-seed or worse. Of course, with the amount of ties going on, you might sneak into Thursday night with all of those teams bunched together.

Rare indeed. Will history repeat?

The Indiana State folks don't seem to be too pleased with Lansing, over on the MVC board as well as their own. He won't be gone because of a very expensive buyout, but the fact their board is talking about the contract situation shows he's under pressure.

I understand their frustration but they are very limited in what they can pay the head coach, he is not allowed to be paid more than the ISU president. That may limit some starting pay, and definitely any future raises.
