I tried to not make it political but it was just to much for me. So Barkeep deleted my entire post and changed it to this. Gosh I love Cheetos
take your political crap to twitter or Facebook. I am not even remotely patient on this one. I promise we will shut it off immediately
thank you: the management
(Inflammatory political snark)
The sun will come out tomorrow. The toilet paper thing is just amazing. Shopping carts full of it being wheeled out of menards and Walmart today. Monkey see monkey do.
Monkey see, monkey do... as I tell my kids, most of the masses are simply asses; don't follow the masses.
There have been (3) reported, confirmed cases of this virus in Oklahoma. The first person confirmed has now recovered after approx (7) days by presenting with (2) negative tests. Doesn't sound like his symptoms and experience was any worse than a flu strain.
I think precaution is one thing, over reaction is another.

You mean it's just a cold, as Rush Limbaugh likes to say? 🤧
Almost nobody in this country has been tested due to politics and lack of tests. If there are three confirmed cases, there's probably way more people walking around with it. Many that have it say they have never been that sick in their life. Also, if you're over 60, it appears the mortality rate is way, way higher than the flu.
It's just getting started!
(As a youngster, I had the Hong Kong flu in 1968. Nearly killed me. 106 temp for three days - felt like hell for two weeks and bad for a month. Never had the flu since.)
Some who recover from coronavirus may have reduced lung function

Read the John Hopkins link again
4718 deaths just under 128,000 known cases I don’t need the media for simple math that is .04 percent
not my fault Italy is full of really old people who smoke,
I want my damn March madness

It's not worth your time - hang out in the Denver airport. Might catch a Limbaugh cold though!
Much more serious than a cold, but thanks for assuming I'm some kind of dittohead.
Heard we've had over 60,000 deaths nationwide due to the flu since Oct '19. Why didn't we shut down everything over that?
You say almost nobody in the country has been tested... on noon news local channel said almost 50 people in Oklahoma alone have been tested and only (3) have come back positive with (1) of them already recovered. (2) of them just got back from trips in Italy and the 3rd is in the AF. And the recovery was announced after the mid 50 year old man produced (2) negatives; so he's been tested at least (3) times.

I'm not assuming anything. That was a poke at a media head disseminating disinformation and downplaying the seriousness of this, as Fox has been doing. Jerry Falwell Jr. says it's a plot to hurt Trump (guess those 60,000 Italians are in on it.)
Read an article this morning by a virologist in England who says it's much more serious than the flu. Many that get it have mild symptoms or don't know they have it, but for people 60+ or diabetics, etc., I've heard death rates as high as 10%. And it now appears that permanent lung damage is possible. Nobody knows at this point. The U.S. testing of this has been shameful - the lowest per capita testing in the world evidently.
