Rupert out after less than a minute. Ebube back in. D1 musical chairs?

MIller looking good tonight.  If my numbers are correct, that's 4 assists already.  That bodes well for Valley season.

I like what Mullins did with Rupert, there was no reason to risk a 3rd foul once the lead was being extended

He is certainly unselfish. At some point he’s got to shoot the puck, though.

Good half for the Dawgs.

Ebube 7pts and 5 rbs in 10 minutes, he is just dominant on the offensive side of the ball when his in in there. He might be a step slow on defense at times compared to Rupert but his rebounding and offensive abilities more than make up for it. It just blows my mind that Mullins can justify not even putting him in the game versus Peay. I don't get it at all.

Stulic has hit a mini-rut the past few games and is in danger of losing most of his PT with Hensley now in the mix and Ferguson to follow. Would like to see him get going again as his scoring off the bench can be a boost.

A few possessions the players looked to unselfish  I understand but sometimes you just have to shoot it and by the way not a lot of energy on the floor or in the arena

Ebube and Hensley both need more minutes.  Especially Ebube!  That kid is damn good and needs to be on the floor to develop his game.

I have read multiple posts about how the Salukis are a one man team and, AT TIMES, they have relied too much on him, BUT......... they have 5 total players averaging 8pts or more and another 2 players who average more than 7.7pts.  That is infinitely better than last year.   If AJ can get healthy and Hensley can continue to get better, this team has a real shot at surprising during Valley play.

My only issue with Ebube, other than his slow step on D that you mentioned, is that outside of dunks and bunnies, he doesn't seem to have ANY other offensive game.  I wish he could develop a hook, floater, jump, etc shot.  That would make him an obvious starter and even more of a dangerous player.

Oh, and the FT's.  : )~
