KenPom has SIU winning by 7 and I think Vegas heavily uses them to make lines. The 6 points makes sense.
It'll be interesting to see how SIU comes out after a tough loss on Sunday. Sunday's loss is the kind of loss that can just demoralize you and carry over the rest of the season combined with the fact that Lance wasn't playable last game. If Bowen Born comes out and plays at the top of his game, this could easily be a loss.

Hence why I say the line is dirty.

Dawgs might win by 6 or 7, but that betting line is BS. Real bad.
If you’re a betting man, you choose UNI all day in this one. Not to win, of course, but certainly to lose by 6 or fewer.
This line just reeks of someone looking at records and making that.
Would be nice to see a solid home win by about 10 points. Glad to see Mullins say that Lance was looking forward to Wednesday.
LJ is primed to have a HUGE bounce back game.

I don't bet "dirty" lines. When I see a line that doesn't make sense to me, I stay away from it.
I mean you're talking about a team that has been getting popped. Sure they had a bounce back against MSU but prior to that had been playing poorly, lost by 12 to Evansville and the game was not even that close. I got SIU winning and covering.I don't bet "dirty" lines. When I see a line that doesn't make sense to me, I stay away from it.
So Reis asked the question about whether or not any of the seniors with eligibility left would return…got the answer I expected, that those conversations would happen after the season.

Bryan certainly didn't sound convicted that they would not be back. Hearing things like they are a big part of our team and I would love to coach them again tells me that there is a real chance they return.
One other thought on this senior class: all of them have fought through significant injuries during their careers: Domask's sophomore year foot injury, Muila has had multiple injuries and he and Brown missed significant time at SIU with back trouble, Newton was injured for the final weeks of last season at Evansville ... Lance hasn't missed as much time as the others, but he got hurt in that win over Bradley at Arch Madness a few years ago and has played through some nagging pain with as much punishment as he takes going hard to the rim.
All the more reason to salute these guys tonight and get that W.
Gotta hope the guys are not as down as I am after the crushing loss to Bradley. If Dawgs arent locked in,UNI will embarass them. GO DAWGS!
Tricks of memory: I had it in my head the loss to Missouri (on a terrible call) was the year before the Sweet 16.not the year after. Thanks World et al for the correction.
UNI isn't embarrassing us lol we have lost 2 home games by a total of like 4 points...Gotta hope the guys are not as down as I am after the crushing loss to Bradley. If Dawgs arent locked in,UNI will embarass them. GO DAWGS!

Depends on Born really, you shut him down or he has an off game and I could see SIU covering. I don’t anticipate that though and Jacobson is always tough, think it’ll be a back and forth game that SIU comes out winning.

Let's HOPE you're right. The problem with betting SIU is that there are too many unknowns. Will Lance score 20 or 0? Will any of the 30+ 3pt shot attempts go in? If the answers to either are yes, then SIU can win by double digits. If the answer is no.......... gulp. I've only bet the games where I was very sure of the outcome and it's been paid off. Games like this, on the other hand, are untouchable for me. Again, I really hope you're right.
