Yep. And every year, any of 4 or 5 teams are capable of winning the Valley tournament. SIU just never does.

The academic achievements deserve their own thread. I am happy for the kids. They deserve better than Barry IMO - that’s the whole point people were trying to make and got tarred and feathered for.

Ha- you're funny--I paid for tickets for for 28 years for every home game of football and basketball from 1972-2000--I also donated all my pay checks (12 months) from reporting on the teams for in 2000-01 to SIU athletics--

IMO it did. The two statements prior to my post insinuated that the team was NOT doing well scholastically I just answered that they were--at least last semester.
I got a call from the ticket office today about my season tickets. I told them I will not renew them and they asked me why. I told her I have no confidence in the current coach and until he is gone I will not be spending my money on season tickets.
