SIU is favored by 1, over/under is 132
Line has moved to Oklahoma State favored by 1.5 since I looked earlier. Either way should be a great game.
And we are all glad for that. His little unorthodox hitch before each attempt caused a hilarious number of lane violations during the season. Fun to watch and sometimes we got the bonus of him actually being successful.@austinsaluki forgive me for my misuse of a conjunction, Professor Austin Saluki. In 30 years of your profession, you never learned that players do in fact develop in practice.
Unless we are discussing Muila free throws that is.
Bring on the swim team in their attire, always a fun thing to watch and inspiration to other SIU students. Makes me miss my college days.Back-to-back home wins over SLU and Oklahoma State, even with both teams being down compared to what you’d expect, would be a big deal for Mullins and the program. It would be another very promising sign that this team is much better than most expected.
Oklahoma State is young, ragged and prone to lapses but also has plenty of athleticism and size. Southern has to take care of the ball and give great effort on the glass. Do those things and there will be an opportunity to win, even if they only shoot half as well from 3 as they did against SLU.
Also, time for the Dawg Pound to back up its talk about being one of the best student sections. Need to quadruple the student turnout from the SLU game and make it a big-time atmosphere.
conversely speaking, people need to get off their lame butts and get to the game. As Bruce Weber so eloquently stated, what else is there to do in Carbondale?Speaking of crowds I understand some of the competition hasn't been stellar and a Saturday 230 start on parade night is not ideal but this team outside of ISU blue has been entertaining to watch I believe bigger crowds should be warranted
Looking at the ticket website and looks like it's gonna be a pretty weak crowd. This program desperately needs to hit a postseason tournament soon.

speaking of tickets I myself attend as many games as I can with family obligations I am a single game buyer imagine my surprise that the tickets for tonight's game have been raised substantially I understand it is a big 12 school but to jack up prices seems pretty crappy I will still be in attendance but not happyconversely speaking, people need to get off their lame butts and get to the game. Guessing we’ll see another very short bench tonight like we did the first 30-35 minutes against SLU, with the possible exception of Ebube getting more early action given Cowboys’ size. Some of the veterans are likely to play 35-plus minutes if foul trouble isn’t a factor.
Not sure that’s a recipe for success over the long haul but hopefully the adrenaline of the matchup and crowd provides all the energy that is needed tonight.
good catch, I just bought some Bradley game tickets, I didn't notice until I got tonight's game tickets, more expensive for surespeaking of tickets I myself attend as many games as I can with family obligations I am a single game buyer imagine my surprise that the tickets for tonight's game have been raised substantially I understand it is a big 12 school but to jack up prices seems pretty crappy I will still be in attendance but not happyconversely speaking, people need to get off their lame butts and get to the game. Keep this series going.
Who cares if we have to keep going 2 for 1 and that we would occasionally play there two seasons in a row.

Could not agree more.

If we win tonite, I doubt OSU wants to continue after next year.
Last year's comeback win at OSU was one of the most exciting Saluki games I've watched in a long time; hopefully tonight we can win without needing a comeback in the final minutes.
Don’t know if Sharp will play but he’s going through warm-ups
I’m hoping for a late-arriving crowd but the attendance is really light right now
Looking at the ticket sales map on the website earlier, it looked like there were going to be a lot of empty seats. Im not sure there will even be 5000 there.

This program desperately needs to put something together. I personally feel like the Domask/Jones losses kind of popped a morale bubble for some of the fanbase
