Yeh I don't think they used him right at all. Think he had great possibilities as a gunner.

I'm sure the defense was a big reason he didn't play but he never looked like a big liability to me out there. It sucks because Stulic and Brown are gone next year as opposed to 3 years of Wonders.

I agree - didn't think he was defensive stud but also didn't think he was that much of a liability - nothing like the liability of playing D'Amico at center where he tended to get chewed up.
I really think defense is something that can be taught and improved, whereas great shooting is pretty much set in stone by the time you're 19 years old IMO.

Didn't really expect SIU to be up by 30 at any point tonight. Really good effort. Queens might not be good but this team was in battles with Alcorn State last year.

I'd like to win these games by as much as possible given how much the metrics like KenPom and NET reward you for blowouts. I think NET is capped at 15 though.
The problem with last year's team is they were content with winning games against bad teams no matter the margin, you can't really do that in 2023 and it cost them early in the season.
