What happens if DePaul cans Leitao and hires Moser?

Outside of money, would anyone really want to go from a Final Four team to DePaul?

Didn't you see how fast WSU lost their coach to UT and Alabama after that FF appearance?

Not commenting on the DePaul scenario...but WSU is a little different. WSU doesn't play in a half-empty high school gym. WSU pays a mulit-million dollar salary.

Yes he is gone 100% Now where does Kill turn for his replacement?

Seriously, we can say this all we want but if he wins 3 in STL is it all bets off again? Or is this regardless of how this season ends?

Dude. It's over.

Even if you hold doubts, did you notice that we just barely beat a cellar dweller at home? There is no way this clown strings out 3 in stl.  We have, what, one win over a top 200 in 2019. It's over.

I am not saying its likely... But its possible... Remember that team we beat last night beat the first place team by like 100 about a month ago... Bradley beat ISU by a ton at home.  I can give reasons why every team in Valley has a shot in STL and reasons they dont... someone is going to win it... If it is us, would Hinson retain his job, I wonder.

For SIU to win the tournament that means at minimum we have to win 3 pressure filled games in 3 days with an extremely short bench. Not very likely ,of course a miracle could happen and we do . Even IF we would win the tournament, the program is a mess and Kill knows it . This is Hinson’s last year .

Say it isn't so Barry.  I equally have faith in you and Pritzger.  Prophets.

Been digging in to this one and I can not find anything to it. Most of the comments were no chance. He will take his buyout and burn everything on his way out.

Bingo.  It will be just like his departure from MO State.  I expect that he will turn any recruits away from us as well.

Barry has such an opportunity to go out with class...immediately announce his retirement at season end.  You might even lock the Cheetos thread and he could be honored at every game on his way out and some of us might even applaud a bit.  The farewell tour could start immediately, but no, that would be too much to ask...he will have to burn it down and display his true character.

Barry has it all right there before him:

to go out as a somewhat respectable Valley coach who made the program stronger, set it right academically and did all he could to leave the pantry full.........

or

to go out as the biggest Valley loser of all time...as a vindictive and a man small in stature and smaller in character who never really cared for anyone but himself, no matter how many platitudes and great sounding lines he spun out for the fans and listeners.

Which will it be Barry?

It would be wonderful for Barry to leave with some class......but I doubt he will.  I think he leaves, kicking, screaming, and burning bridges.  This is all somebody else's fault in Barry's world.  He certainly fits the politician mold.

Haha. I had forgotten about the maroon quip. I keep remembering the Scarlett A quote and "I am not damaged goods."

Craving a McBride Special!

I'm OK with that as long as he gets his drinking water, unfiltered, from the Des Plaines River.  🤮
