@dawgbytes come on fellas it was tongue and cheek everyone knows that the official listing of height and weight are always tweaked a little to make each individual seem a little larger
SIU doesn't do that. They measure height and weight for each new player when they 1st get here in June and put that on their profile. You will see kids height and weight go up AND down from what they were listed at in HS.
I agree to a point. But there is no way that Marcus Domask is still 6'6".

Do you think he's taller? I think 6'6" is just right. He looks about an inch shorter than D'Amico who is 6'7" and looks about 2" shorter than Muila who is 6'8". He also looks slightly taller than Wonders who is 6'5". He is undersized when he plays the 4.

From my seats in the Banterra Center, I believe he looks closer to 6'8" than 6'6".
Especially when compared side by side to 6'8" Anthony D'Avanzo and 6'8" J.D. Mulia in the photo linked below. Two more comparisons can be made to 6'7" Will Keller and 6'7" Ben Coupet, Jr. in the same photo
I've heard players mention a national championship being the ultimate goal a few times now. I absolutely love this mentality. That means there's no short selling of expectations within the program, and it's starting at the top with leadership. Otherwise, it'd be nothing more than a whisper.

Man it’s hard not to like the players on this team, they are all such great kids. Trent had a lot more going on, injury wise, than just his back last year. Go Dawgs.

Trent gives a very good interview and it's easy to see he and Mullins have very strong rapport.
His role for this coming season will be interesting. I'm assuming Johnson and Jones will both be playing heavy minutes (with Banks at point when Johnson is not), and I don't think you want three guys 6-2 and under on the floor at the same time much. Yes, it worked with Mullins-Tatum-Young, but those were three very dynamic dudes.
So I'm assuming Newton and Wonders (or even D'Amico or Domask if they play bigger) will get much of the time as the third guard/wing, assuming everyone is healthy.
Point being, even if he's back to 100 percent healthy, I think Trent's role likely will be to come in and play 10-15 minutes of in-your-face defense off the bench and try to hit a few 3s while he's out there, along with providing his strong leadership in practice and on the bench. If anyone has the maturity to accept and embrace that role, it's Trent.
@dr222 standing next to him ( and I’m short) I honestly believe he’s about 6’6 with shoes. I don’t see him anything smaller. We have some pretty tall players on our team and also a lot of short ones but standing next to them he doesn’t look anything under 6’5

From this and a few other things I've seen on social media it's evident Tony Wills is back with the Saluki coaching staff (not sure in what capacity). He had returned to his alma mater, ISU, for a year but must have been looking for other opportunities once Muller was launched.
Man, Foster Wonders jump shot is smoother than Jameson Black Barrel, and it is VERY smooth. Muila looks like he could take down a freight train, add Clarence Rupert to the mix and we could be the most physical team in the Valley this year. Almost forgot, Cade H looks like he is going to fit in nicely. GO DAWGS!

Tough, for me at least, to determine too much for a 1.5 minute highlight video but it sure does get me fired up for the Fall. I personally believe this will be our best defensive team since the Mullins playing days and best team overall in a long while.

That's interesting. I checked his Twitter; it looks like he was at the camp that Mullins hosted last week. I assume he wasn't retained at ISU when Pedon took over.
