Pre-game in the Club, Brendan Mullins gave the synopsis of what to look for from SEMO. He said they'd take crazy shots and they did make some wild drives to the basket. When they missed there was often a SEMO player on the off side to put back any easy layup. We played good defense, but they were still able to run some plays. Several of our turnovers were just plain poor passes, but their quickness contributed to a few.
Muila was a foul machine on defense and a phantom on offense, Filewich played well, as did Domask as point(?) center when they went small. Good game to watch as both teams played hard.

Coaching staff comes up in the club before games to talk to people?
Did not know that.
Still really like these SIU produced game highlight videos!!
Last nights highlight video leans on some James Bond soundtrack music for effects!!
For those of you that were watching the game on ESPN+ and did not get to see the final minute of play due to their technical difficulties, the last play in this highlight video was the shuffle pass from Coupet Jr. to Filewich for the dunk. It was a very pretty play to watch live in the Banterra Center!! Go Dawgs!!

Muila didn't commit a single foul in the game, how was he a foul machine?

He didn't play much either. 7 minutes. Just has no confidence on the offensive side - really needs to work on that.
We shot 60% from three and 59.6% overall. And 12 - 14 FTs.
Wish we could shoot like that every night. Not many teams could beat us.
I had a personal event to attend Wednesday night so I had to wait until yesterday to watch the game (ESPN+ shows replays !!!!).
Really not much more to add that what was already said. It was nice to see Harvey out there. I'll give him until Valley season to get fully acclimated to game play. Hope his D has improved enough that he can provide meaningful minutes in conference. Verpl looks so smooth and I like seeing him in the starting lineup. I thought this was Banks best game yet. A single TO with 3 assists, good shots and shot selection. Jones is obviously still hampered by his injury. Crazy thing is he is still a competent defender even when not at 100%. It was REALLY good to see Filewich score and be confident. I didn't see any forced shots either, he got the ball, knew what he wanted to do and executed. Neither Kyler or JD played a ton of minutes as Coaches went with a really small lineup but, against SEMO, it worked. I think we'll continue to see games where either JD or Kyler get more minutes based on the opposition and the flow of the game.
Should be a fun game on Saturday where the guys can get some rest and others can get experience. Need to get Jones healthy before they plan San Fran. That game could be a defining moment for this team.
Would be nice to have Trent back and healthy for the match-up with the Dons as well. This team is so close. Unless SIU's marksmanship is cold as ice, they've already proven they can play with and even beat some pretty tough competition, even without their full complement of rotational players.
