Tough to watch, but there are going to be nights like this on the road, especially with no Cook seemingly the rest of the way. Just not a lot of offensive firepower.
Bradley 67
SIU 48
Final
I didn't think this team would win this game on the road, but with Bradley being down a man, I thought they would at least keep this game close.
When you shoot 20% in the half you're not going to keep it close, sadly.

Absolutely the worst second half and game of the year.
If there is a stat for most turnovers without getting a shot off, SIU would lead the NCAA. They simply left the building after the first half. I know we're offensively challenged, but that doesn't mean we have to wait till there's one second on the shot clock every possession, does it? Yes, bad nights happen frequently on the road, but that was too reminiscent of recent years.
March on triumphantly!
I'm wondering why there are no set plays for Marcus. Is he not a catch-and-shoot type of player?

I missed the news...why is Jeremic out?
Never saw any news, was wondering if he was active or not but I guess not
Twitter feed said we are without Dembele and Jeremy.
Jeremic was wearing a walking boot. Not sure what his injury is.
In addition to the major post depth hit this year if Dembele is out, he could have really used these 15 or so games from a developmental standpoint, as he appeared to be making some progress. Damn.

Yep that's the worst part really. I don't think he's looked great by any stretch but these games were important for development.
I think the wind went out of the sails when Dembele got hurt, it sure bummed me out.

Loss of Dembele was huge to that young team. He was playing pretty well in that first half. The next five games are looming now in a dark way. Sorry. Hope they can somehow shake it off.

In retrospect, I wondered at the time what effect, if any, it might have had. And now, sure seems it did. They pretty much collapsed in the 2nd half.
March on triumphantly!

Damn I hate to hear that. I was hoping for an ankle sprain, not this. Get better Sekou.
