I shudder to think where SIU would be without Jones though even with the 6 turnovers. There's just not much going on here.

SIU was just awful offensively after the early Jones barrage. The guardplay is woeful.
The talent gap between the programs is evident in the standings and on the floor. And yes, Domask is sorely missed.

We missed a ton of shots at the rim. Offense isn't smooth and a lot of that is a credit to Loyola's defense. Also, refs letting a lot of bumping and hand checking go, which is to Loyola's advantage. If SIU had these refs in the 2007 Kansas game we would have won by 20!

we had 14 points. bobber had to do a zoom call. came back 20 minutes later, and we still had 14 points.
FYI, Porter Moser is a good coach. Not sure why some on here think otherwise.
Curious! Forty per cent of the shots taken were 3"s....lower percentage type shots. Missed close in. Only 3 assists in first half. Usually an indicator. No FT's attempted. Wonder if anyone can go to the basket and draw fouls? Ten turnovers. Whew!
