SIU faces a Bradley team that's 3-3 in their last 6 and struggled at home to an undermanned Illinois State team. In the game in Carbondale on January 17th, SIU blew a 23 point lead in a span of 19:36 of game time. Connor Hickman, Duke Deen, and Darius Hannah all had 15 points each.

Very interested to see how this one plays out, and a win would be outstanding, but the UNI game remains the biggest one in terms of getting the bye for St. Louis. And not sure a potential 3 seed is that much better than the 4 in terms of the draw at Arch Madness ... that's up for debate.
So, renewing my plea for Mullins to be smart with X, given his signs of wearing down/playing hurt in recent games. I'd be shocked (but not displeased) if they sat him in Peoria, but if the game gets away/isn't competitive in the last 8-10 minutes, for the love of God, don't needlessly play him 38-40 minutes. X will 1,000 percent be needed this weekend and next.
Any word on Clarence? He looked like death warmed over at Evansville.

Vegas has Bradley as 'only' 8.5pt favorites at home tonight. I would have thought it to be 10-12. This doesn't necessarily mean that Vegas thinks SIU is going to steal one, but still. I know Barkeep wants this game more than most of us, but I am more interested in getting XJ healthy for the BIG game this weekend.
