What frustrates me is knowing if we had maybe played a big man against these guys at home, we could be 2-0 against them now.

Absolutely right. Mullins lost that game while Rupert sat on the bench - and booed at the end.

Before the game, I said and felt SIU had a shot to win, but at halftime, I honestly didn't think they had a shot.  Shocked but incredibly happy.

The brightest point in my opinion is that Domask and Jones shot poorly overall (although Jones brought the team back into the game with his timely shooting) and we still won.  Need to take care of business at home and then next up is big road matchup against Missouri St

Have to give credit to them, this was a big win and a much-needed win.  The 3 point shooting remains a huge problem but this team can play defense and it seems like the depth just wears down teams in the 2nd half.  Now they have to fix the slow starts.

We uglied it up, played physical, and drove the basket. Something like 18 - 20 FTs in the 2nd half!

XJ played great 2nd half. Guy's a good shooter.

D'Amico played well 2nd half too.

And the Marcus Jones once again won that game for us.

Jones had 18, Domask had 14 pts and 7 rbs.

XJ had 13 pts, 4 assists, 2 steals, 2 rbs. 11 - 12 FTs.

Jones shot 35%, 3 - 9 from three, and 3 -4 FTs.

Domask shot 28%, 0 - 5 from three, and 6 -7 FTs.
