While I would love for this team to compete for a conference championship we all know the valley is a 1 bid league so if this team can improve become more consistent and win the tournament for the bid I will be happy and i do not believe the season has been disappointing as of yet just some unexpected results but that seems to be a college basketball theme for everyone this season
I feel like betting the opposing team for the first to 10 or the first to 20 every game would make a person rich. Pretty sad when the starting five is supposed to be a "defensive" line up and yet start every game against a decent opponent down 15-5 every game. As for betting the spread I would tease this game with ten points to either side. Either Indiana State has a bad game and we win by ten or they play well and beat us by ten in my opinion. That said, anything can happen of course.
Going to go with D'Amico as my pick to click tonight. He had his best Saluki moment at Indiana State last year (dagger four-point play late), so maybe he likes Terre Haute (there's no accounting for taste) ...
They seem to feeling awful confident over there on Sycamore Pride, I guess that's what 6-0 will do for you! I can't say I blame them much either, they've not played a particularly daunting schedule yet, but they seem to be handling their business and doing it with conviction (closest game they've had is 9 points @ Illinois State).
We can't have a start like we did against UNI, these guys will be hard to catch if you go down double digits. Here is hoping for a good start and a decent shooting night...I think we'll need both to win this game. They are expecting a larger than normal crowd, so they'll have to contend with the atmosphere too so it's really important not to let them get on a big run.
Scary game, Hopefully somehow dawgs scrape out a win. Hard to believe Ind state is a better team. Season hasn't been that disappointing to me other than the loss to USI, and home loss to Indiana state, win those 2 games and Season is great right now. A loss tonight really could turn Season into downward spiral

Not saying he will be the POG, but for SIU to win, I WILL say that Lance needs to be on tonight. If he finds his outside shot, this team can beat ANYONE in this league home or on the road. Here's hoping they surprise the Sycamores. If this game was a weekend one, I would have made the 2 1/2 trip south down 41.
If memory serves, in both the ISU and SLU games,we had no inside presence either defensively or offensively. That should be different tonight. Go Dawgs. But please stop with the first 8 minute bricklaying.
I want to see a 2-big lineup the entire game; start Rupert and JD, and then rotate Ebube and even Cade in so we always have two bigs clogging the paint and grabbing rebounds.
I look for Wonders to have more than 10 minutes of floor time. Watch me be wrong.
Broadcast not up yet?
Edit: Working now
In all seriousness, has SIU won a SINGLE tip off this year ?
SIU leaves wide open shooters on back to back possessions but they both miss luckily
It's only 5-2 Trees but this start is not encouraging at all on both ends
