Trent has been great so far but as soon as teams key in on him in the corner and make sure he can’t get any clean shots off, he becomes a huge net negative on offense because he’s really bad at driving and finishing.  So many times last night the ball would stick in the corner with Brown unable to do anything and it stalled the offense.  Also Trent still has a reputation for being some amazing defender because he had a good game against AJ Green his Freshman year but he just can’t guard quicker, more athletic guards.

Not blaming Trent at all for the loss, more credit to Schertz for figuring that out.

There are a lot of questions regarding the coaching staff's lineups, minutes, etc.  I tend to "trust' in their judgement as they see INFINITELY more of the players than we do.  But, I have said before and continue to believe that this staff's biggest issue is with recruiting.  Too often we're getting kids who are too slow offensively or defensively (Filewich, D'Amico, Wonders, etc) to match up with the quickness of not only the Valley, but D1 in general.  The lack of signing a single player in November was alarming to me.  What the staff does in the Spring will be absolutely critical to both their futures and the near term future of the program.

If they can't do it, then do whatever it takes to bring in a Coach and staff that CAN.  Mullins is incredibly intelligent and knows the game.  I think if he got better developers and recruiters, which led to better, and improving, talent, he could be a very good coach someday.

You're not blaming him, but you sure are singling him out.  Did you watch Stulic and/or Troy on offense or defense last night?  In fact, I would say not a single player, including XJ played great defensively last night.

The entire team was bad.  People didn’t care for Muila but there’s been a huge downgrade in interior defense so far this year so even if Swope is blowing by defenders, nobody is there to help out and impact a layup

Yes, and they all sucked on defense (and offense).

more people were eaten by sharks last year than college basketball teams won games by scoring 48 points?

All is well, Fargo (Season 5 - Episode 3) is on tomorrow.

Just finished Season 1 E2. Got the "Hulusucks with Ads" Black Friday deal specifically for this series. Didn't realize Saluki Bob Odenkirk was in it.

Also didn't realize the Jags-That-Be that run Hulu would have a million #@!@#@ ads every 5 minutes. I watch movies on Tubi and Pluto for free with fewer ads.

Several years back I tried Hulu Live. Hated the piece of crap menu so much, I cancelled within the month and went back to Youtube TV.

if last night didn’t wake up the blind homers NOTHING will. watching a certain segment of this fanbase just accept this nonsense is infuriating.

People are so beaten down that they sometimes accept less here. My counter is that the leaders of this school can’t accept that. From what I have seen, I don’t think they will.

To insinuate that people who want to stick with Mullins are blind homers is an insult to blind people, their seeing eye dogs and real estate agents.

Said it before and I will say it again, I wanted to stick with Mullins because I truly thought he was going to get it done... If he doesn't I just want to win, Hitler can be our coach.  Point is, for me, I just believed in Bryan, it had nothing to do with being a homer.

Didn't Hitler coach here before? Could've sworn I saw a video of him and his "coaching staff" a few years back. 🤣
