It has a lot more advantages then just ESPN plus. If you get one let me know I can tell you what to download
I have ESPN+, but watch games on my TV by just chromecasting it with a $25 Google Chromecast that plugs into one of the HDMI ports.

If you or someone in your family has an XboxOne, you can download the ESPN app and watch the games though that on the TV. Also can download MLBTV app on the system, for those that live out-of-market and need to watch Cardinals game this spring.
