The rest is going to help, but until someone steps up (besides Lance Jones) to make opponents pay for keying on Domask, we're going to continue to see these double-digit losses.
Marcus missed several WIDE open shots today.
When Ben Harvey becomes eligible, teams won't be able to key on Domask. 😉
I’m looking forward to how they respond in Arch Madness. I think a week off and a week of preparation will work wonders for this team. It was great to see Brown so aggressive on offense today, he had a good game. Lance Jones was obviously impressive. Regardless of how this season ends, I don’t think anyone expected a winning record at the beginning of this season. We were spoiled with an insane stretch of good play by this team and now they’re gassed. People forget that TB, MD, and LJ are freshmen and it takes times to adjust to a full season of D1 ball.
The future is bright!!!
Tired legs are obvious, but if there's a silver lining to be found in this limp to the finish; it's quite evident now more than ever just how badly this team needs to get bigger and stronger. The last few weeks have shoved this fact directly to the front of the line.
I'm sure the coaches are more aware of this than anyone, and I trust they're making every effort to correct this glaring need.

I am so impressed with this group, both coaches & players. I thought we'd be lucky to finish in 7th place. Well, after what I watched this season, what an awesome job, gentlemen. I'm proud to be a fellow Saluki. You guys never gave up. And from game one till tonight, the improvements have been exponential.
Now, go to St. Louis and kick butt & take names. I'll be rooting for you every step of the way.
Go Southern Go. (that's all the words I know)
Didn’t get to watch the second half but it looks pretty similar to the first half from the box score.
Great season so far just looks like the heavy minutes caught up to our guys down the stretch. Let’s hope they can get some rest and make some noise in the Lou! Bright future ahead regardless!

They played pretty much the same in both halves. They were lucky to be down 8 going into the half. And then reality set in.
Out-rebounded, terrible shooting, and poor defense doomed this game from the start. Hoping several days off allows the guys to get their legs back for Arch Madness.
The team has looked gassed the past 5 or 6 games. It’s a miracle they have achieved 15 wins this year. No chance they win their first game in the tourney. Great step forward this year.
Bruce Weber went 15-12 and 10-8 in the MVC in his first full season as coach. Mullins sits at 16-15 and 10-8 in the MVC right now.
This was the third game, second road game, in six days for a team whose starters were already fatigued, hope 5 days of rest helps them recover. Regardless of the rest of the year, they have certainly exceeded my expectations. Go Dawgs!

I take back what I said about Trent Brown yesterday. He came out of his shell against Missouri State and showed a glimpse of what he can be. Sure, he could've been a star at a smaller school. But he chose to be a Saluki and for that I support him and look forward to his continued development.

Anyone else notice that Brown came in for Benson and defended low-post players? He's been doing this all year, and is probably the major indicator we need to get some more inside players.
