Read any blog for any sports program at any university and they are pretty much the same: fire the coach, blame the coach, blame the AD, fire the AD, get rid of this player, why is this player playing, why isn’t this player playing, need more defense, need more offense, play zone, play man, etc. etc. etc. It does not make a difference what the sport and what the school, it is always the same. There are many different opinions and everyone has a right to voice theirs. It does seem sometimes like it is the same line being put forth over and over and over.
This is the only fan site I visit period. I watch Saluki sports, Cardinal baseball (sorry Cubs fans), and golf. I catch a few other college basketball games and a few college football games per year. I have never looked at another fan site. But I just really enjoy being a Saluki fan. I want to win more than anything else, but right behind it I want it to be clean and classy. I believe all of our programs fit the clean and classy requirement and they are all getting closer to the winning I want.
Read the 4th (I think) post. The Dawg Pound is to be commended. Go Dawgs!

The Dawg Pound has been great, I hope the road trips continue in the future. I wish we had that when I was in school.
I'm just saying I see the same posters who are just itching to take a victory lap every time the offense sputters... You love it. You can't wait to say something about it. Just don't be so eager to dump all over the team we all support and care about and be prepared to give some credit when it's due. This season deserves much more praise than scrutiny.
Okay, so you've taken it upon yourself to tell everyone else how to be Saluki fans. Got ya.
Someone mentioned earlier in this thread that they don't like posting during games. Usually I'm in the same boat. I only come here to post during games when what's happening is too depressing to keep my undivided attention -- especially when a portion of the root causes are the very ones many of us discuss here. I know that makes me seem negative. Funny thing, I'm actually super positive. That's just me being me as a fan.
I don't agree with many of the takes posted here, but I'm sure as shit not gonna tell anyone else how to think, act, post or how to be Saluki fans.
Not telling anyone how to be a fan... I think it's fair to say some people on here cannot wait to complain. That is what's annoying. It's not just one post, its been this way for 3 or 4 years. You do whatever you want to do, post its over before it is and when we win I am making fun of you.
I don't think the negative comments have anything to do with with being a good or bad fan. It's just easier for some people to be negative and then not be as disappointed or called a kool aide drinker when things go bad. Everyone has their own way of coping with things. We are all fans on this board as far as I know.I'm just saying I see the same posters who are just itching to take a victory lap every time the offense sputters... You love it. I think it's fair to say there's a few on here that ate one too many bluebirds! Passively accepting things that should be fixed rarely gets anything fixed.
(Better go check my bluebird boxes! LOL)
XJ!! Like his start!
Ebube sighting - let's see if he gets more than 120 seconds.
Wow - sweet drive by XJ!
Clay has two fouls - needs another before half.
