Bombing 3’s is a fine strategy but they clearly don’t have the players capable of it, so they need to adjust
No it is NOT Dude! Unless you have excellent three pt shooters, just jacking up threes is a formula for losing.
Balanced scoring, an inside scoring and defending presence, and offensive balance (more than two guys who can score) is the formula for a good offense. In a way, the three point shot, as exciting as it is, encourages bad offense.
Basketball has trended to 3’s and layups/dunks. But you still need guys that can shoot. SIU takes far too many 3’s.
For his size, Marcus is one heck of a rebounder - just a darn good player.
