That threw me off too. I need to go back and look at that because at the time I assumed Wonders was well behind the 3 point line, then looked up later and saw the score change.@dawgbytes Was that when they changed the score and we lost one point? I think they gave Wonders credit for a 3 earlier and it was changed to a 2 point basket??
@salukiworld His toe is on the line so it should be a two-point shot.
Thanks Salukiworld!
Aw, give the kid a three! 🤣
Hey are 9-4, going into conference play with some mojo. Let's all enjoy Christmas, enjoy some nice football games on Sunday and "welcome" Murray St. to the MVC on Thursday.
I also was at the game, we seem to have trouble with teams that have 7 to 8 basketball players. 🥴
@slydawg What? Why does everyone have to complain? We just beat a regional rival on the road that was only down 2 starters and hadn’t won a game since November so they were way over due for a victory but we made sure that didn’t happen on our watch. Also that was SEMO ‘s largest crowd of the season a very raucous 1632 fans of course half of them were SIU fans. I wish for once we could just enjoy a victory. Go Dawgs
Dude, you are cracking me up. What's even funnier is some people probably think you're being serious!
And by the way, their arena sucks!! I’ve never sat in a more uncomfortable seat (that moved forward when anyone 1-3 seats away moved forward) and just buying a bottle of water at the concession stand was an adventure in patience. Be glad that we have the good old Banterra Center. It was a great SIU crowd at the game, loud and into the game. Very entertaining.
Evidently you've never enjoyed the $10 seats in Banterra... designed for the tiny butt of a munchkin lengthwise evidently. Sad part is there is plenty of room there - could have made the seats a bit longer so humans could comfortably sit there without sliding off. Terrible.
I am comparing apples with apples. A chair seat at SIU 11 rows off the floor, which is where I was at SEMO, is infinitely better than the cheap plastic seat I was in at SEMO. No cup holder either. And by the way, their arena sucks!! Try finding room to put a car seat in that place 🙄. I agree, SIU’s seats are a LOT better.
Lost amongst the wailing and gnashing of teeth is the fact that JD had 5 rebounds in 12 minutes of playing time in this game. The power of extrapolation gives us full game total of 17. Not too shabby.
