Back to back turnovers from Jones out of the timeout
SIU shooting 34.1% and 26.3% from 3
Rupert makes two FTs! Glory Be!
SIU goes up 59-47 with 7:30 left. Nice run with Domask and Wonders.
statcast says Wonders shot was a 2, the broadcast says a 3.... i wonder which one is right.
Free throws have been a big difference in this one.
SIU: 16-19 (84.2%)
SEMO: 7-13 (53.8%)
well, looks like statcast was rightstatcast says Wonders shot was a 2, the broadcast says a 3.... i wonder which one is right.
Did D'Amico really get called for a foul for hitting the ball back?
Wonders still has a bit of timidness. Stop passing up shots.
I really think in future years, Wonders is going to have some big, big scoring games for us. He really has great shooting form. Just looks like a gunner on the floor - like a slightly timid Rick Mount.
62-57 SIU at the last media timeout. SIU is shooting 35.8% but free throws are carrying them.
we may win this, but this has not been a good game. SEMO is missing two starters tonight and we are still struggling to get a W.

It's a road game so I'll take the win but yeah, this team is really going to need to take a step up to win in the Valley. This team feels like a .500 Valley team or around that right now.
The fact that they had a stretch of Alcorn State, Lincoln, Chicago State, and SEMO and only had 1 comfortable game isn't encouraging at all.
Newton missing critical FT's, then Banks with a careless TO. Why are the bench guys in ???
