SIU heads to Chicago for the regular season finale. A win and SIU has the 3 seed in St. Louis.
UIC has battled injuries recently but has managed to win 2 games in a row.

The Salukis narrowly defeated UIC 68-66 on February 8th in Carbondale. Marcus Domask led all scorers with 24 points and added 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Jace Carter led the Flames with 17 points and added 9 rebounds. SIU led by as much as 15 with 8:27 left in the 2nd half but UIC charged back and had a chance to win at the end. The game was marred by turnovers for SIU who lost the turnover battle 21-8. UIC took 23 extra shots than SIU because of the turnovers and 13-3 offensive rebounding advantage.

Hard to believe this is it.
Win one in Chicago and two in St Louie, and I will be happy.
This team is more than capable of that.

They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.
Not going to be an easy game at all. SIU shot over 50% and held UIC to 35% in the Carbondale game but offensive rebounding and turnovers gave UIC a legit shot at winning. Have to fix both of those if you want to win.
UIC only played 7 guys on Wednesday against Evansville. Carter played all 40 minutes, Anderson played 39, Skobalj played 38. This is a team you can wear down late.
Other than ISU redturds I believe in the rematch the Dawgs have been much better in the rematch
11 floor seats left, gobble em up!
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!
As Rodney Watson said, hard to believe that UIC has only won a few MVC games cuz they have some talent.
We're going to have to play better than last time, and I think we will.
UIC has a few talented pieces but keep them in (relative) check and they don't have enough depth to hurt you. They also play a lot of younger guys who need more time in the weightroom so SIU should be able to find plenty of points around the rim. Remember Ebube's four dunks in the first meeting?
Need to win this one for Arch Madness seeding, and it should be a pretty comfortable environment with a 50-50 or better split of Saluki fans in the house. No excuses.
I would love to see it again tomorrow!!! 😜Remember Ebube's four dunks in the first meeting?
Even if we get a favorable result from UNI I hope this team plays with urgency and not down to the competition play with the foot on the neck and win this thing

I’d like the 3 seed instead of the 4 (and obviously instead of the 5). I know the first Belmont game went well but to me, they’d be a worrisome Friday foe between Sheppard having the potential to take over and their 3-point firepower. They’re well-coached, too.
