@rockin-dawg Yeah, the last few minutes Salukis lost their composure. The COC bigs were a handful, but we did OK considering it was first game, new coach, new players etc. And as Nagy pointed out, the first possession of the second half was dreadful along with the last COC possession of the first half. Just a few routine screw ups that cost SIU the game.

I did not get to see the game, as I was at work. Did we get the damn ball inbounds? We have struggled for 20+ years doing this.
Cannot wait to see what adjustments Nagy makes and how we improve in the next couple of weeks.
Yep. When I went to the exhibition game, I brought a piece of paper with the players' names and numbers. . .and consulted it frequently.I hope the Dawgs put the players names on the back of their uniforms. There are too many new guys playing to keep track of who is who.

It's a faceless account that was tweeting racist and derogatory things at multiple school's basketball accounts yesterday. You can still see his tweets all up there in response to all of our basketball page's posts and he fits the archetype of all faceless accounts. Coward.

I found them now. A few other jack asses posted on there also. I saw many encouraging things watching the game and some things that need working on. Charleston is a good team and deserves credit for getting the win. They have a “go to” player who they went to when they needed to and he responded. If they shoot like they did they will be a handful for many teams they play.
i think this team will only get better as the season progresses. The coaches will learn more about the players, the players will learn more about each other, and they will learn how to execute and play with one another better. I am excited about the season. Go Dawgs.
