After watching today’s game, Sharp needs to be inserted into the starting lineup in place of Mayo. Nagy has to pull additional effort and sense of urgency out of this team. They’re playing far too timid. They also have to figure out how to take care of the ball. SIU squeaked by against a bad team.

Lots to nitpick but these guys needed a win, bad, and have plenty of practice time these next couple weeks with only two games.
Nice to see Kennard hit a clutch shot in the last minute. They’ll need more of those to stay afloat this season.
I know they beat the #278 KenPom team by 3 but thought they played fine today. USI hit a lot of contested shots and Olowoniyi went crazy in the first half. But when you get a reputation as a bad defensive team, I feel like it gives teams a ton of confidence coming into the game
