"BM says that was absolutely not an upset!!!"
His predecessor would have been hawking this as "ONE OF THE GREATEST VICTORIES IN SIU BASKETBALL HISTORY!!" And blah-blah-blah ("I'll tell you, Mike..."). Mullins and staff have already moved on and are taking care of business for the next game.
It's so nice to have a grownup in charge.
No shiat. GO DAWGS!
Yes, great win and Salukis showed toughness when UTSA made their run. And yes totally agree, under BH, would have been hailed as "Biggest win ever!"
My other thought is, a year ago, we would have lost this game.
Grownup in charge, indeed.
March on triumphantly!
Good representation of Saluki fans here, you could tell the players appreciated it too. Marcus Domask is the real deal. Think Matt Shaw with better ball handling skills. He shot penalty free throws last night, tells you all you need to know about his shooting abilities. Best freshman I’ve seen in looong time.
The advancement and diffusion of knowledge is the only guardian of true liberty.
James Madison
Lot of Saluki fans here No other school has more than a few fans. Marcus Domask is the real deal he wanted the ball in crunch time . He is going to be really good. Hell he is already good SO Excited for Saluki Basketball 🏀 again.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Anyone have pictures of the crowd? Their social content is very minimal.

Former WIDB Sports Director and Dawg Pound President. Since my freshmen year, SIU Basketball has not appeared in a NCAA or NIT postseason game.
I woke up this morning and it was like any other morning. Except this morning, the usual grogginess was nonexistent, and i sprang up out of bed with a sudden epiphany - Holy ****. Saluki Basketball and Football are both returning to prominence and we are soon going to see our two staple programs back at the top of the pack! Both of ‘em! Side by side! YESSS!!
This kid has passing skills too. He finds the open man. Good all round player.
Mike Reis: Do you consider this an upset?
BBQ BSer: Absolutely! That's a Final Four team. Great win for our program!
Brian: Absolutely not!
