While I certainly understand where you are coming from . Remember Kill wasn’t the official AD at the time and he hadn’t yet truly observed Hinson’s smoke and mirror act up close and personal. Also, Kill was brought in by a heavy influence of Cook. Kill is probably one of few people that can influence Cook on the Hinson front. Kill knows a lot more about the situation now and he has heard from many influential donors about what needs to be done with the Basketball program as a fan base we can’t give up on letting our voices be heard . So again I encourage all fans and donors to either call Kill or send EMails .

I'm not so sure Kill saved Hinson's job because he liked Hinson so much as Kill saw an opportunity to get Cook and Montemango on his side to make him the AD. I think he had been steadily growing his own power and influence up until that point and when he saw an opportunity to win over those two he took it.
CKA has nailed it to me, he saw his chance to get power and took it. Ruthlessly and we will see what he does with it; the volleyball hire makes me feel a bit better
I question the belief that Jerry Kill had these diabolical, ulterior motives. However, he has certainly tarnished his legacy here with his involvement in last year's fiasco coup to save Hinson's job.

Hinson is not surviving this season. Attendance is going to be so far down there wont be any choice. Kill will not be able to stand the embarrassment that this season has become.

Barkeep I certainly understand your frustration Hell I am frustrated as Hell Hinson is still the coach , I was sure Hinson was gone last spring and it fell through. and I know Kill had a part in that . But because Kill is in charge of the athletic department he is our only hope to end this madness . IF Kill is to pull the trigger this spring he needs to hear from the fan base . I have heard he is listening and seeing first hand Hinson’s ineptness. Bell was listening to the fans and tried to get Hinson out but he was a weak AD and ultimately didn’t get the job done. So we must keep trying. As far as you don’t get the love he gets from the fan base, I can’t answer that question, but he is the ONLY hope we have to getting Hinson out . This is the most maddening thing as a fan I have ever seen. CAN WE PLEASE END THIS MADNESS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏
