Jim Les led the UC-Davis Bovines to the 2nd round of the NCAA in 2017. They didn't upset Kansas this time however, 100 - 62. Also have been to two NITs and won three conference championships.
Not sure I'd put Wardle ahead of Les. The MVC was a tougher conference back in those days with Wichita, Freighton, and the DAWGS!

It is only for their years in the MVC. If it was over Weber and Altman would both be far far higher
