Correct me if I have missed something, but there have not been any MVC teams listed to date in the top 144? Do we expect SIU to be in the top 80's, 70's, or not listed? Who else in the valley will be noted in your opinions?
Bradley was at #91,I expect SIU, Illinois State, Loyola to come
Thanks Cowboy,
Frankly, I am surprised that SIU may be in the low 80's or better. I know it is a senior laden team and the record last year was reasonable (albeit, versus very weak opponents overall), along with a fairly hollow second place standing in the conference, but even with a little looking one can see that the foundation may be questionable. Don't get me wrong, I hope we have a kick butt season and perform at a high level, just saying I think are rating is positive given all what I think I know about who we are as a basketball team. Definitely need to make a mark this season as the drop off next year will be significant IMHO.

UNI is #129 and Valpo #112
This site has picked Bradley at #91 with a predicted 4th place Valley finish. So three teams left in the top 81.
I agree that Loyola, Illinois State, and SIU (not necessarily in that order) are the three MVC teams left in their top 144 projection.
last year this site had only 4 MVC teams with a predicted finish in the Top 144.
#100 Loyola (IL)
#120 Missouri State
#134 Northern Iowa
#142 Illinois State
