Weiher has been here four years--he must be near being eligible to be a grad transfer who could be eligible immediately if he does transfer--but I think Rudy has only been here 3 years
Correct. Austin will be a redshirt senior while Rudy will be a true senior.
Craving a McBride Special!
"I don't know what else you want. No one ever gives Barry any credit for scheduling a home game next year with Final Four team. Oh wait...nevermind."
I'm sure the little huckster will use that at some point when the topic of scheduling comes up......glad he thought of it.....
A writer at Valley Insider says Adarius Avery is leaving Loyola. Not a big loss, though.

There were high hopes for Avery as he was second in the Nation two years ago at JUCO level in scoring (24.1 ppg) now they probably will sign another 6-5 JUCO to replace him
Also transferring from UNI is 6-7 Tanner Louhaus, younger brother of UNI Guard Wyatt Lohaus
Not exactly a transfer but just reported Simeon star Messiah Jones who had been released by The Drake has signed with Wooford
If Loyola can add a scorer and some size that can help them immediately, look out for them.

I think the guy they are looking to add is 6-5 and about 230 15 ppg --a good mid prospect from JUCO. Haven't heard about any bigs yet
latest 2018 transfer list. Lots of options if someone is leaving the program.

I see Deion Lavender is on the list leaving UAB. I guess he "doesn't have to settle" and stay in Birmingham.
Would be nice to hand a new coach a Desmar Jackson
I see Ryan Taylor from Evansville on the list, and listed as a 2 star? Is this the leading scorer for them or am I missing/mistaken on something?

Yep. That's their guy.
He should have plenty of options as a grad transfer, if I'm not mistaken. Size and physicality can shut him down though. I think he needs to go somewhere that has other scoring options already in place.

A second transfer out of Loyola: 6-4 Cameron Sutterwhite Soph--35 games all off the bench, 10 minutes a game/earlier 6-5 Adarius Avery transferred out

This one surprises me a bit. For being only a Soph, having a consistent role on a Final Four team with a chance for a larger role going forward seems like a pretty good situation to be in.

Maybe he doesn’t think he will have a larger role, possibly from better recruits coming in or becoming eligible.
