Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it usually slow until basketball season gets going? It’s not like we've had any marquee games on the schedule yet. This site has been extremely informative thus far and barkeep has been the Adrian Wojnarowski of Saluki-insider

Seems like a lot more posters are here tonight. Playing a division 3 team to start the season didn't create much buzz. But as mentioned above, winning will bring people back.
I’ve been just waiting for the season to start.

What baseball season was not good enough for you 🤣
I do a lot of topic reading. Not a lot of posting. I work a rotating night shift thingy. Posting at 3am doesn't do well for responses. Lol!
I am rotating back from Zombieland for the next three months soon.

Ill get into it more when the proper games start

Yes.
Seriously, there is nothing lacking on the current iteration, except that there is a lot less blather and fluff.
Not that there's anything wrong with blather and fluff; it's just that it shouldn't be mistaken for information.

And I hasten to add this: Love him or hate him, but MSN's info was always spot on, which is more than can be said for other departed posters. He and I locked horns a few times, but in the end he was generally OK as long as you weren't a tool.
I hope he comes back, frankly. We need more people around here with training as journalists. There was a time when this site (or rather, its predecessor sites) had an impressive cadre of ACTUAL journalists on board.

Awesome glad to see it really. 👍. Happy for Nick Hill and the football team he was on the clock and has done a great job turning this season around. Much better days ahead for Men’ s Basketball 🏀
It’s fun again and love having all the chat. This is the way it’s suppose to be.

The best part is having a coach who is a straight shooter and has the right expectations and goals for this program. It’s amazing what kind of talent he was able to find in such short time. Much better talent evaluation skills and coaching them up. Not to mention the press conferences and interviews with Reis.

It's been a loooong time since we haven't all cringed when someone has handed our coach a microphone. I suspect as the season keeps going they'll be more. I'm working nights or I'd be following more. I don't care if we're last, we have a good coach that knows what talent is and how to coach it up so things will turn around.
