I think the Nebraska kid has the best shot at getting the waiver. Don’t think the Clemson kid will get it. 

Correct me if I’m wrong. If William(Clemson) does not get a waiver, he will not complete his 4 years of eligibility in the 5 year time frame. That also means he would be sitting out 2 years in a row.

I was thinking the same thing, cowboy. But surely we wouldn't go after a kid who would wind up being ineligible, right? Surely the NCAA would have informed him and Mullins of that. 

Oh. I just said "surely" and "NCAA" in the same sentence. 😆

Anyway, I'm guessing there is an exception for medical redshirt cases.

I believe they will have to either give him a waiver to play this season or a waiver to allow him completion of his eligibility in 6 years. SURELY the NCAA wouldn’t allow him to lose 1 year eligibility.
