Baez on a HR tear last two games, guy is so fun to watch.

That MI might be the best in the game at the DP.  Baez's arm strength is ridiculous at 2b.

My risk paid off this morning! I bought a pair of cheap tickets for tonights game hoping it would get postponed to July. Now get to see a Cubs/Cards game in July instead of January.

Also going to tomorrow night game. Tickets were just as cheap.

Well played sir.  I had tix for the Monday opener  but couldn't go on Tuesday for the makeup.

I don't i'll ever go back to Wrigley when it's less then 50 degrees and the wind is blowing straight in. I've never been more miserable at the Cubs game in my life. I think the icing on the cake was a Paul Dejong home run and another Pedro Strop meltdown against the Cardinals.

Weather's been truly awful.  Today's game already rescheduled for tomorrow.  They almost pulled off the comeback but some deep balls stayed in the yard.  It's amazing how Chatwood can issue so many walks and still get out of trouble relatively unscathed.  Strop is always hot or cold.  Bullpen overall has been very good and they're going to need to be if no starters ever get beyond the 6th.

Will skills like that, Almora would be the best WR on the Bears

Pitching has been fantastic lately.  Really concerned about the offense right now though especially Rizzo.  I'd like to think he's going to come around eventually but he's making a ton of weak contact and hitting balls into the shift constantly.

Edit: Apparently ba lls is a banned word on here  🤣

Cubs offense is fine. Rizzo will come around once he's comfortable and the weather warms up. We're lucky to have multiple mashers in our line that can cover for Rizzo.

Tyler Chatwood, continues to impress me and I'm extremely happy to have him in the Cubs rotation.

Can't score 6-10 runs every game.  Earlier in the year if they were not putting up 6 runs they lost.  Now they have a nice little streak here of good pitching and timely hitting.  The O will be top 3 in runs scored in NL.

My only concern with Rizzo is if his back is really bothering him, that can linger.

Wind blowing straight out about 20mph and we get a pitchers duel.  All 4 runs were solo HRs though.

Funny game this baseball....

Kind of mimicking Jon Lester's first season as a Cub.
