@saluki82 I haven't. I've also had the same questions. There are a lot of negative comments about him, but I honestly don't know anything one way or the other.
#1. Stepping in to save a basketball coach from being fired after they had been told they were being fired. Promptly stabbing the AD in the back and costing him his job. Jerry Kill is all about Jerry Kill and does not care about anything else.
since he Left Minnesota feel free to name a place he has gone where somebody was not fired within a year
he also had very little to do with the Banterra deal but gladly took full credit.

Kill had nothing to do with Patterson getting fired. They're good friends.
Mr Woogers, you are correct on Killer and Patterson's friendship - but he apparently did not help Coach P enough to save his job!!
Also Killer was at Virginia Tech last year in a similar role with his friend Justin Fuente, and it's pretty apparent that Fuente will be fired at the end of this year!!
Coincidence - maybe. I haven't been close enough to SIU to know all that went down with Killer there, but sounds like he may have burned more than a few bridges!
