Are any former Salukis playing in the new FB Leagues?
I posted this last September. It's the only news I've found to date:
The new AAF is actually starting next spring. Deondre Barnett has been signed by Orlando as a LB. He played DE for us after transferring from UCF. So far, he's the only Saluki on the list. There are 8 franchises. Each player will receive a three-year, $250,000 contract with medical benefits and an "out clause" to go to the NFL. Good luck to Deondre.

I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
After getting home from watching the Dawgs, I watched the last 4-5 minutes of San Antonio- San Diego. It appeared better than Arena football, but was a small sample.
I watched Memphis @ Birmingham last night. Not bad for only having a few weeks to practice. (As Clint Eastwood said,"Better than watching the Grammies."

AAF already missed payroll. Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon dropped in $250 million to keep it afloat.
...and it's finished. Just suspended operations.
