Good job in the classroom.  Any hope for improvement on the field this season?

I think first pitch is mid-February.

Craving a McBride Special!

Hendu needs to have the same expectations in place as Hinson.  Win the conference and make post season or time to move on.  This program was once top notch and it like all other athletic programs have largely been ignored with a complete lack of expectations.  This needs to change....especially given the investments in the facilities.  Time to reinvest in the team.

There's no way of knowing, but I think he will. Getting football and basketball fixed is his first priority though.

I think it is pretty clear the school doesnt give a sh*t.  How many years has baseball been like this?  Callahan was mediocre for years (RIP) and they promptly gave the job to one of his deputies who continued the same performance and has been there  for 8 freaking years now.  They dont care and I doubt they suddenly developed concern

4 NCAA Tournament appearances in the past 40 years. Hard to have any expectations for this season, other than be content with a typical, 4th-6th finish. It's a shame how there is no light of a conference championship in the next 5 years for the football/basketball/baseball programs.

Does SIU really need 40+ players?

Is Finigan someone who could take over the program?
