Valpo was 5-20 before taking on SIU.
The wheels have basically come off. I don't follow the baseball program closely enough to know what all the factors are in the recent struggles, but I do know the great non-conference showing came against some pretty lackluster opposition.
This season is definitely something to build on for the program but still work to be done.
