I’d like to see these guys playing a tougher schedule.  It’s time to raise the expectations on this program.

I don't get not playing any SEC schools.  You're within bus distance of Arkansas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Mississippi State

I say again, Rhodes is the Hinson of baseball. Poor recruiter who refuses to recruit prep players. Constant rostet turnover. Cupcake schedules to inflate win totals. Largely uncompetitve in the conference tourney.

Outside of one fluke season with a bunch of old players due to COVID that he largely didn't even recruit his teams have been mediocre, generally finishing mid pack.

Yeah, like I said, time to raise expectations on this program.  This current regime isn’t getting it done.

With Dallas Baptist and Missouri State out, SIU should really be a top competitor every year in the MVC.

The MVC will continue to be competitive, but SIU needs to compete at a higher level.  They’ve invested in their facilities, now let’s invest in making sure we’re highly competitive again.

Think he signed an extension a year or two ago. He'll get a couple more years to do better. Last year's team was 12 - 16 in the MVC. Weak schedule other than Evansville and InSU. This year's schedule looks soft again. No illinois - had that series for years until last year.

I don’t think the Chancellor accepts sub-par performance on the field/court for too long before changes are made.  Rhodes likely needs to pick-up the pace.
