21-2 loss, yikes. Good start to the season but take it with a grain of salt given the crap schedule they're playing. They lost 2 of 3 to UTRGV and got ran out of Bowling Green so 1-3 against the real teams they've played.

Dawgs had a huge 8th inning last night to come back and beat Morehead 14-4.

Surprised there’s not more baseball discussion up in here. Dawgs are sitting at 3rd place in the MVC, one game behind Murray, who they’re playing this weekend.
Dropped the opener yesterday and game 2 is at 2:30pm today. I don’t think they’re televised this weekend, for some reason.

Because the team is a Hinson style mirage. Played a really bad schedule, loaded up on wins against bad teams, not competitive against good teams. Also Rhodes refuses to recruit prep players and actually build the program and instead exclusively recruits older transfers who weren't good at their last school and mediocre JUCO players in a perpetual rebuild with zero consistency.

I have to say, I’m surprised you’re still pushing the “you can only build a program through prep players” rhetoric when the team is in the running for a conference championship with 2 weeks to go.
