check out the thread on transfers--I think the consensus is the Weiher has a good possibility of transfering since he played little and may be grad transfer eligible. Perhaps Rudy, but less so

Weiher did look like a guy just going through the motions last year.
I think Rudy probably stays. He has a role with this team and he's an okay option for spot minutes from the deeper recesses of the bench.

I agree. I think Rudy stays and gets some spot duty behind Bol and Pippen. If the little huckster knows how to play a big line up, he could also get a couple of those guys on the floor at the same time. I'm kinda doubting the little huckster really knows how to do that. Any more than one true post player on the floor at a time and I believe he's over his skis.
Actually Rudy DID improve some this last season underneath, and he can step out and shoot the three some

Rudy can make a contribution to whatever team remains next season. I think he can get a little better too. The problem is that the huckster has no clue how to effectively use him. He would rather play five guards.
Craving a McBride Special!
Enough of the Rudy talk. The thread is 2019 recruiting.
We have an offer to Ciaran Brayboy from New Trier. 6-9, 220.
We were the first to offer him, but he is starting to get calls from Big Ten and Big East schools.
Offered Josh Earley. 6-8, 220 from Bishop Miege in Shawnee Mission. https://twitter.com/twitter/statuses/938501374458912769

Rudy was 3-20 (.150) from three this past year.

ha-ha, I did say "some" He was 9 of 22 in 2016-17 (40 %) so he's not totally a three point shooting bust--but I'd rather he's stick to rebounding and scoring within five feet of the basket

Yeah, I know he was better the year before--a downright threat, even. I was just giving you a hard time. 😛
I guess teams knew about the threat and really clamped down on him? (Though I recall him missing on several good looks without anyone in his face.)
Anyway, sorry, all. Chester is right: Rudy has nothing to do with 2019 recruiting.

Video for Saint Viator's (Arlington heights, Il) 6-5 guard Jeremiah Hernandez who is a 2019 offer---By chance I met him at the Arena a year ago--nice young man. he's skinny but has some talent
