Took a while for the twitter announcement, but Matt Brenneisen, LB from Sacred Heart-Griffin is the second member of the Class of 2019. 6'2, 220 lbs.
I THOUGHT that the Brenneison name was familiar--I believe we signed his older brother Bobby Brenneisen in 07 or 08 but he transferred out to D-2 Quincy University and finished up there in 2011--he was a Quarterback
Yes I found an article on Bobby's transfer--too much QB competition at SIU at that time--he is the MUCH older brother--my link will not work. It must have been 2006 recruiting since the article is dated May 13, 2010 and Brenneisen had been at SIU three years (one redshirt)
Nick & Co continue to do a really nice job on the recruiting trail. He's going to have to start getting some results on the field though. I'm hoping this is the year they can make a run at a post season appearance.
